The birthplace of human speech is India and the cradle of not a horse but a race of people of India and it also the great grandmother of ritual, the grandmother of legends.Our most valuable and most informative materials in the history of man are treasured up in India only. "India’s history is the daughter of India, "

So lets go towards the amazing facts about India :-

1. A floating post office

There is the leading postal network in the world with over 1, 55,015 post offices is in India. On an average a only post office serves a population of seven thousand one hundred seventy five peoples. In August 2011 the floating post office was established in Dal Lake, Srinagar.

2. Shampooing is an Indian concept 

Shampoo was invented in India, not the commercial liquid ones but the tactic  by use of herbs. In the ancient time when the kings of India do their head massage then it was known as champu, from that Sanskrit word the, word 'shampoo' itself has been derived.



3. Snakes and Ladders originated in India

Snake and Ladders, was now commercialized and has become one among the foremost popular board games within the world. In ancient time known as a Moksha Patamu, the sport which was firstly invented as an ethical lesson about karma to be taught to children that if they do good karmas then they go upwards but if they do bad karma then they get downfall.


4. The human calculator

There was a women who calculated two 13 digit numbers: 7,686,369,774,870 Γ— 2,465,099,745,779 which were picked at random. She answered correctly within 28 seconds. The name of that women is Shakuntla Devi. She get the title of Human Calculator after giving the demonstration.



5. India discovered the water on the moon 

 In September 2009, India's ISRO Chandrayaan- 1 using its Moon Mineralogy Mapper detected water on the moon for the primary time. 

 It recorded evidence of water in 650 mass spectra readings gathered during this position during its 25-minute tumble, Chandra's Altitudinal Composition Explorer (CHACE) . NASA Instrument Moon Mineralogy Mapper (M3) on Chandrayaan-1 had detected water ice on the Moon that was reported by science journal reported on 24 September 2009.
